RUSSIANS’ TRIALS.
ECCLESIASTICS’ DEATH SENTENCES. [A. and N.Z. Cable Association.] (Bee. July 9, 5.5p.m.) MOSCOW, July 7. A trial at Petrograd of Priests and other for opposing the requisitioning of church property resulted in eleven being sentenced to death, including Metropolitan Benjamin, a bishop and several priests and professors. Fiftythree have been sentenced to various terms of imprisonment. The Court has decided criminelly to prosecute the Patriarch Tikhou.
