WORKERS’ RISK.
— 60 GIRLS NEARLY SUFFOCATED. SRDNEY, July 8. Fiftv or sixty employees, chiefly girls, at Joyce's biscuit factory. Camperdown. collapsed through being overcome by fumes from the ovens. The victims fainted in heaps and wore promptly removed to the hospital where respiratory efforts brought them round, after two had been given up. The majority wore allowed' to return to their homes, but several are still in the hospital.
