A FARMER KILLED.

I The body of David King, a farmer [ of Branxton, was found near his farm I partly burnt, with two wounds on the head and his skull fractured. Jt is surmised t ,t King was murdered by being hit on the head with a swinglebar of a turnout which was employed dragging timber to tlio fire on the farm. The body was found by’ his wife, lying face upwards on the fire. King leaves three children, the oldest of whom is 13.
