COMMUNIST IN COURT. A PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE WELLING TON, July 7. Alexander Galbraith, who has beer selected to contest the Napier s-eat a the General Election, appeared befori Air F. K. Hunt, S.AL. at the Magis trate’s Court this morning to answe a charge that on June 4 lie did inciti violence in an address on the “Down fall of Capitalism,” at the Communis Hall. Mr J. F. B. Stevenson, for the ac cused, appealed for an adjournment it order to collect witnesses, and to stud; the speech. He said that the cas might have very serious consequence; as defendant had been selected to stam for the Napier seat, and it was neces sarv he should have a fair and jus trial. The Crown did not oppose the ad journment, which ■was made until Alon day’ afternoon.
