AUSTRALIAN COAL MINERS. JUSTICE HIGGINS SEES TIIE POINT. (Received June- 27, 11 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 27. In the High Court, the Workers’ Industrial I nion id' Australia applied for a rule nisi to restrain the Coal Tribunal from dealing with the dispute in the coal mining industry, on th? ground that there is no industrial dispute, and that, if there was a dispute, no specific dispute has been referred to the Tribunal; and also that the Coal Tribunal has no jurisdiction to investigate tiie dispute, because it is not validly constituted, under the Industrial Peace Act, 1920, or under the Constitution. .Justice Higgins dismissed the first two grounds, but granted a rule nisi on the third ground.
