TEST CASE .IN AMERICA. CHICAGO, June 7. The Supreme Court has granted a temporary restraining order against Mathilde Al’Cormick, marrying Max Oser, a Swiss. Harold AL’Cormick, and his divorced wife, who is a daughter of John I). Rock toiler, entered the court on opposite sides. Her father is willing that Mathilde should marry while her mother demands the Court’s interference because of the discrepancy in their ages, 17 and 42, and that Mathilde will lose her American citizenship. The decision will be given on Saturday as to whether the order should be permanent. The father, in replying to the affidavit, declares that riches should not. be a bar to matrimony. If true love exists, many persons of a greater disparity in their ages live happily; also that Oser may become an American. The. case is the first of its kind ever taken to the courts in this manner, , and is raising tremendous popular in- ; t crest. VANCOUVER, June 9.
