OBITUARY.
GEORGE GAMBLE. There passed awr y yesterday, al the residence of his daughter, Mrs Howard Knar, I’uketahi Street, (I rev mouth, George Gamble, a very old resilient of No Town. The deceased followed the occupation of a miner, and was ■wellknown for his genial ami kindly disposition. lie came to the Coast in the good old days and whilst here made many friends. He retired from active life som<- time ago and suffered a long illness prior to his passing away yesterday. * lie, was a native of County Cavan, Ireland, and leaves a wife and grown up family.
