Major Blake has reached Pisa aboard a new D.IL nine three-seater, which only arrived at Marseilles on Friday morning from London. lie hopes to proceed to Rome this afternoon. Colonel Broom has given up his place. This is in order to go to the Alaskan coast, and lay dumps of petrol and provisions, and arrange for escorting craft over this difficult part of the route. His place on the plane will probably be taken by Malins, photographer.
