WANGANUI MURDER.

POLICE SEARCH. WANGANUI, June 3. As yet there are no further developments in connection with the murder of the elderly Chinaman, Chow Yat, at Long Acre on Wednesday night. The police mado a very exhaustive search in the locality to-day but without definite result. The known facts are that, as stated previously, it is positive that the murderer carried his victim from where he fatally shot him, to the spot where the body was found. There the dead man’s pockets were rifled. Close by were the empty purse and some folded pieces of paper.
