TOM MIX MATINEE. Tom Mix in "Han“s’’Off” will be shown at the matinee in the Town Hall to-day and again to-night for the last time. The supporting pictures I include the second Episode ot tho I "Branded Four’’ and a two reel Sunj shine Comedy. SUNDAY. Sing Sing prison is not such a bad , place after all, according to Thomas Meighan, Paramount star, who comes to the Town Hall on Sunday, in his latest starring vehicle, ‘ ‘ The City of Silent Men.’’ Mr Meighan and his company spent more than two weeks at the famous penitentiary, taking scenes for the new picture, and in many of these the warden and the guards, and even some of the prisoners, appear. The story deals with a country, boy who goes to the city, and falling! into ] the hands of crooks, unconsciously'aids I in the commission of a crime, and alI though innocent, is sentenced to pnI son. Ho makes his escape and going to California, 'lie assumes name and becomes superintendent of a factory. Then lovo -enters his life, and on his wedding day, the shadow of his past rises before him.
