WAR ON TRIBESMEN.
CAPE NATIVES ATTACKED. DEUIAIATED BY AEROPLANE BOALBS. CAPETOWN, May 31. Opei at ions against . rebel Bondezwarts tribesmen culminated in a sue ccssful assault on their stronghold at Haibby. The troops ami volunteer settlers were assisted by Tu-rojdanes. The blacks sullci’ed severely from aeroplane bombs which caused much havoc, especially among the enemy’s stock. The pii ncipa 1 rebel loader, Aforris, ami a considerable number of his followers escaped under cover of darkness. A hundred prisoners w-ere captured. The ofiuial report status that the rising was completely crushed with a loss to the forces of two lulled and two wounded. A considerable number of the enemy' were killed, including two leaders. Others are believed to be fugitives making for 'lie Orange River, fhe troops having been dispatched thither.
