POLLARD’S PICTURES.

At the matinee to-day and to-night Pollard’s will screen at tho Opera House “Respectable By Proxy,” a big comedy’ drama. On next Wednesday evening, ‘"‘The Sky Pilot,” a big First National feature with all tho wonderful thrill that made tho book, will bo presented. Ralph Connors’s lovable character “Tho Sky Pilot” comes to life in a splendid picturisation of the wellknown and popular novel. Not only is it artistic, it is also thrilling with incidents that stand out as a notable achievement. The actual light itself is depicted in the clearest detail with special “close-up” views of tho important moments, particularly in tho second round, when Carpentier made tho terrific onslaught which almost, but not quite, won him the championship of the 1 world, together with a tidy fortune. One of the features of the film is tho introduction of “slow motion’’ pictures of part of the first round which afford the student, of boxing an interesting analysis of the methods of the champions.
