TWO NEGROE3 SUFFER. (Received Alay 19, 9.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, May 18. Two lynchings- occurred in different parts of the south to-day. (inc was in Georgia, where a young negro was burned at the stake for having robbed ami killed a white post woman, and stolen her automobile. Two thousand persons witnessed the lynching. Various individuals were seen shooting at the negro while he burned. Another negro was hung in Texas. 1 He was arrested for an alleged attack on a white girl. A posse were sent out to find him after he escaped from prison. Later they found his body hanging to a tree.
