On Wednesday evening the Board held its monthly meeting, there Doing present: Commissioners Billctt (chair), Grams. Walker, .Sotheran, Excell, and Tomlinson. J.cax'c of absence xvas granted Io Cr. Barrett. The Chairman of Works (Cr. Excel!; reported that all work entrusted to the committee had been carried out, except the grading of Blackett Street. Sotheran gave notice of motion as follows: — “That gll rates unpaid for the past year be sued for.” The Ranger reported that 16 cows and eight horses were impounded during the month. The Greymouth Gas Manager wrote illative to street lighting, and in reference to agreement between the Grcy- . n.oulh Borough Council and the Grey | County Council in same connection.—lt xvas decided to reply that the matters have been referred to the Board’s Gas' Agreement Committee for report.
