The figures prepared by the Board of Trade Statistician show this typical group: Alon’s clothing and boots, cost. £.17/9/- in January, 1921 now £.13/4/-; women’s, £27/10/1 to £l>£ .10/-; food and groceries, £2/1/7 to £J 9, 6. Kents have slightly increased.
