EXILES FROM FRANCE.
TAKEN TO SYDNEY. SYDNEY, May 17. The two French prisoners have been brought to Sydney as the result of legal action taken on their behalf. A writ of habeas corpus will be applied for. If the application fails both prisoners will be placed on the Pacifique. HABEAS CORPUS REFUSED. SYDNEY, May 17. The Banco Court refused the appnention on behalf of the two French prisoners for a rule nisi for a writ ot habeas corpus on the ground that there was no illegal detention.
