RATCLIFFE’S ROTTEN RACKET.
HOW HE GOT ANTI-LABOUR VOTES. SYDNEY, April 1. It transpires that Air Ratcliffe, who headed the Botany poll, standing as a Labourite, refused to obey th'e Labour Tarty Executive’s injunction not to seek the number one votes, but to act as a “dummy” for trie other four Labour candidates. In consequence of Ratcliffe’s action. he was last night expelled by the Executive from the Labour Party. It is stated that some other Labour candidates, similarly refusing to play the part of the dummy, are threatened with expulsion.
