To-night in the Opera House Pollard’s will present Anne Luther in “Neglected Wives,” a story of marriage and married life. Patrons will find in “Neglected Wives,” a story they can never forget. There is a delicate interlacing of fine emotions throughout, characterised by a brilliant cast, whose great human appeal grips and holds its audiences. On Wednesday evening two big star features, “The Love Cheat” and “The Money Changers” will be screened in the all-new double star programme. In “The Love Cheat” two popular stars, June Caprice and Creighton Hale, arc seen at their best. There is a great deal of idyllic charm about this picture, the story of which is simple and appealing with many human notes that strike a convincing harmony. The romance of a poor artist and a wealthy society girl, it furnishes many golden opportunities for the two stars, who form a popular and tried team in pictures. Essentially a family picture, there is nothing to offend and much to give pleasure in this offering. Powerful, thrilling, and in the same breath, tender, exquisite can truthfully be said of “The Money Changers.” It is a Hamp ton-Path e production. Upton Sinclair wrote the story around a theme contained in Mr. Sinclair’s novel of the same name. The picture commands interest at the very start, quickly plunging into the story, which introduces characters in New York’s high society and then shifts into Chinatown.
