ROTOKOHU SCHOOL.
(To the Editor.)
Sir,— ln your issue of 12th ' December appeared a letter headed "Education," and unsigned. This letter was read to the audience at a public meeting at Rotokohu on the 14th inst., exception being taken to the implied reference with regard to the present loea} teacher. It is generally*' believed, though I emphatically denied it, that lam the author of that epistle. I would be obliged, Sir, if you would kindly correct this mistaken idea. I 1 do not want to imply that I am not in favour of certificated teachers for country schools; but merely to prove that I was not the writer of that letter. Thanking you in advance, J am, etc., E. I.
