CANON MAGNER 'S DEATH,
THE INSANITY PLEA AGAIN.
ON CULPRIT'S BEHALF. (Rec. December 17, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 16. The official account has been jaOlished of the shooting in Ireland of Canon Magner. It states: — Two lorries, containing "Auxiliaries," passed Canon Magner and. a youth named Crowley, a farmer's son, who was cycling. The Cadet in charge of the Auxiliaries demanded Crowley's permit, and shot him dead. The nhe shot Canon Magner. The cadet is reported insane." THE "UNOFFICIAL" ACCOUNT.
