CHEAPER MEAT DEMANDED.
LONDON, December 16. The "Daily Express" says the National and Scottish Federations of Meat Traders (who represent all retail butchers of Britain) have decided to agitate for the removal of the embargo on the importation of Canadian store cattle, on the grounds that it is imperative to reduce the price of meat and to restore Britain's supply of cattle that was depleted by the* war.
