MAY CASUALTIES IN PARIS. LABOURITES DENOUNCE GOVERNMENT. &TEONG RESENTMENT SHOWN. [Reuter's Telegrams.] (Rue. May 4, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS. May 2. The night of May Day passed off in Paris qu'Ctly. During the day there were 250 polico wounded in Paris, 115 of them seiiously. . The civilian casualties are not stated. The crowd used revolvers at several points. One in the crowd was shot dead at the Place do T.nnomnra. ! The injuries to civilians arc chiefly due to tho police sabres, batons, and st icks. A meeting of the general Confederations of French Labour Unions has condemned the Government 's action. The Confederation will meet to-day j to consider the situation. | The French Socialist Members of Parliament will interpellate the Government on the action taken when the Chamber of Deputies meet. THE AMERICAN DEMONSTRATIONS. (Rec. May 4, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. May 2 The "New York World's" Boston correspondent states that three police*nien were shot and a number of persons injured in May Day riots between soldiers, sailors and tJie Radicals at Boston.
