LONDON, December 7 lhe papers state that Mr Lloyd George will announce to-day that the cash reparation to be demanded by Britain and the Dominions from Germany will be eight thousand millions sterling. This claim has "Been prepured by a committee presided over by .ur Hughes, and including Mr Cuulitte.

The Allies Finance Sub-Committee of the Armistice Commission has intimated to cfermany that she must not alienate the gold belonging to the Retells, Bank or her foreign securitfes, her railways, her mines, or any industrial, commercial and colonial enterprises wherein the^State is interested. Geiuna'ny must also restore • all documents taken from France and Belgium.
