AVHERE BRITISH LINE NOW IS
(Rec. December 7; 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, December 6. The British troops have resumed the march towards the Rhine, and have reached a line from K'roi^enburg to Schleiden and Duren.
A later report dated to-day. says: We are marching on towards Cologne nnd the Rhine and have reached a line from Blankenheim to the east of Schliedem River, then to Erft antf to the south of Grevenbroic'h.
BRITISH NEARING COLOGNE
(Reuter, via America.) (Rec. December 7, 4.5 p.m.) LONDON, December G. The British army of occupation has now advanced to within ten miles of the city of Cologne.
