The British , Government have intimated that they favour Polish Representatiorr at the Peace Conference where Polish interests are involved.

A"n English newspaper correspondent interviewed the present Austrian Foreign Minister. The latter says that documents' in • tlie Foreign Office proved that the AnstrO-'Hungartan statesmen foresaw the dissolution or the Empire, and hiped to forestall it by crushing Servia's rising power. ' The Minister added: "Austria's only future policy must be one in imionwitTi Germany." He hoped that the Peace Conference would assent to this.
