LIBERTY
(Rec. November 10.30 p.m.) LONDON, November 11. There was an un pa railed scene or" enthusiasm at Downing Street, when the Premier appeared at a window, with Mr Bonar Law. The Premier addressing a huge crowd, said: '"You are entitled to rejoice. The people of Britain and the Allies, Dominions and India, have won the most wonderful victory for liberty in the history of the world.''
There was a veritable sea of people outside Buckingham Palace. The people frantically cheered their Majesties, who appeared on the balcony of the palace.
