The Chinese Government, replying to the Entente nations, thanks them for the postponement of the payment of the Boxer indemnity, and promises to give facilities for unlimited supplies for the Allies and for recruiting skilled labour. China will observe the strictest control of enemy subjects and prohibit trading with the enemy and will permit the posts vacated in the Government service to be filled by Allies.
internal disturbances will be quelled, allcfwing Allied commerce to proceed without interruption. Enemy shipping will be rechartereci by the Chinese.
