The Town Hall well filled" last night 'to witness the of "Audrey" and "The Adventures of Terence O'Rourke." These two pictures, with the addition of a. few comedies will be presented again tonight. "Audrey'/, has been adapted from .one of the less well-known novels of Mary Johnston, the celebrated American novelist, author .of - such .famous books as "The Old Dominion" etc., but it has. the advantage of: • offering an excellent screen medium for the talents as a tragedienne of Miss Pauline Frederick who, as has been remarked, bids fair to become the Mrs Pat Campbell of the screen. ' I Audrey>> should not be missed-^it is something, quite distinct in its excellence. j FOX AND METEO, WEDNESDAY. ■ Two great star features are billed for Wednesday, one from the studio of the jrreat William Pox, called "Carmen," and the other from the studio of the, Metro Company, entitled "Her Debt of Honour." Whatever exception may Be taken to . the dramas familiar to pictiiregoers, all must * be of one mind with respect to 'ICarmen," which .-will be screened at McLean 's Pictures on Wednesday. There is scarcely any need to dwell upon the excellence of the plot, or other features inseparable from the play, which is a masterpiece well known to the public. The Fox Corporation is responsible for the production,: in^ which Theda Bara late of the Theatre Antoine Paris, leaves Nothing to be desired. The .setting of .this great story of. passion- is remarkably attractive. Cleverly interwoven are a_number of highly sensational scenes, including an actual Spanish bull-fight, and a daring leap on horsobackrfrom, a cliff ,400 ft; high into a. lake. To niissthis phoduction of v. Carmen would be, to miss a great opporunity. .Music from the r opera will ,be introduced by the orchestra, and Miss Chunn will sing an,appropriate item during the screening.
