LIVE STOCK REPORT At the Central Yards, Preston RoaG, Greymouth, yesterday 25 extra prime quality; cattle and 240 fat sheep and lambs were yarded. There was only a small attendance ; of buyers and the sale dragged somewhat. Mark Sprot and 00. report having sold 25 bullocks from South Westland at prices ranging from £18 . for extra heavy bullocks to £14 los for : medium weights. 6 fat heifers from £14 17s 6d rtb .. jC'i 2 17s 6d From Mrs Corcoran Ahaura, 42 fat sheep: at 2^?s 6d, to 2^s 16 fat lambs at 265. From Mr W. Clayton. Ahaura, 23 fat lambs at 225, 40 fa^ sheep at t6s. From M. H. Gilmer Totara Tit, ' 36 fat lambs at 22s 6d to' 22s and privately 85 fat lambs at y^^S^aife^Peiep were passed unsold.

[ At the .meeting of the Grey Hospital Board yesterday it was stated that Nurses Perkins, Gillon, and Delaney were successful in passing their anatomy and physiology examinations. All three, passed with credit. At the conclusion of the meeting of the Greymouth Borough Council the Mayor (Mr. G. E. Perkins) wished councillors a Merry Christmas and a. Happy New Year. The Council reciprocated the Mayor's good wishes. • . To-night at Trinty "Hall there will be a carol concert given by the Sunday School children, assisted by members of the choir. Besides the carols, there will be solos, recitations and ' duets.
