Myers tbe relations between- the societies and the NationaL Provident Fund; Afterwards the conference went into committee, and considered the annuity proposals submited. by the Minister in charge of the National Provident Fufid ('Hon. A. M. Myers). The delegates expressed a desire that the scope of the scheme be extended.\ ;./ ■■ ■•■■ '-: - .. ■ Mr. Myers stated that he was prepared to consider favpur'ably the prbposal in the direction of providing some financial aid towards maternity benefits.
