PROPOSED AMENDING BY-LAW. ]U OTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was passed at a SPECIAL MEETING of the Grey Comity Council, held on Wednesday the 22nd day of MARCH, 1916, viz :— "In pursuance ''and, in exercise of the powers, provisions, and authorities contained in "The Counties Act, 1908," "The Public Works Act/ . 1908," "The Motor Regulation Act, 1908," and any amendments thereof ' respectively and all other enabling .powers provisions and authorities contained in any other Acts or otherwise vested in it, the Council of the Grey County hereby makes by this SPECIAL ORDER a . By-law to further amend a By-law of the said Council made on the 7th day of April 1914, and amended on the 27th day of November, 1914.' The object , and purport of the said amendment is.— -(a) The repealing of Division Yo f of Part II Licensing of vehicles and (b) appointing the , several sums to be paid to the Council for the licensing of Motor Cars. The above resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on Wednesday, the 3rd day of May, 1916., at 2 p.m. at the County Council Chambers, Gresson Street, Greymouth, and a full copy of the amending By-law is deposited at the said Council Chambers and will be open to the inspection of the public during offioe hours for" at least THIRTY DAYS immediately preceding the 3rd day of May, 1916.
