PUBLIC NOTICES GREY COUNTY COUNCIL. j PROPOSED AMENDING ] BY-LAW. |^ OTICE is hereby given that ] A^ the following- resolution was passed at a SPECIAL MEETING of the Grey County Council, , held on Wednesday the 22nd day of MARCH, 1916, viz :— - ; "In pursuance and in exercise of the powers, provisions, j and authorities contained iii "The Counties Act, 1908," ' " " The Public Works Act> 1908," "The Motor Regula- 1 .tion v Act, 1908," and any . amendments thereof respectively and all other enabling powers provisions and aut- ] 1 horities contained in any other Acts or otherwise vested in it, the Council of the Grey County hereby makes by this SPECIAL ORDER a By-law to further . amend a By-law of the said Council made on the 7th day of April 1914, and amended on the 27th day of November, 1914.' . The object and purport of the ! said amendment is. — (a) The repealing of Division Vaof of Part IE Licensing of vehie-. les and (b) appointing the several sums to be paid to the Council for the licensing of Motor Cars. The above resolution willbe submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting 01 the Council to be held on Wednesday, the 3rd day of M%ri916., at 2 p.m. at the County Council Chambers, Gressoii Street^ Greymouth, and a full copy of the amending By-law i is deposited at the said Council Chambers and will be open to the inspection of the public during office hours for at least THIRTY DAYS immediately preceding the 3rd day of May, 1916.
