THE WITHDRAWAL FROM ANZAG
LONDON, December 27. The' "Spectator" says that the withdrawal . from the Dardanelles was nothing, less than a miracle. Every unit and officer must have been carefully coached in the minutiae of the time-table. The arrangements made at Gallipoli by the staff show that the British can achieve the most difficult work with a precision which the Ger-. mans can envy. The hard task ahead is the smashing of the threatened attack on Egypt, where the enemy will fight at the greatest disadvantage.
