It is founded on on facts, (hough of course the proper names are suppresesd_ /Phe following is a brief outline of an intensely dramatic story: Francois Crevasse/ a Belgian farmer,' is living peacefully with his wife and little son, on their farm; near Alost, when news reaches them that the Kaiser's Huns have invaded Belgium, and are burning the villages and outraging women uud children, and they are warned to leave with the oth-i-r villagers before it is too late. The Germans arrive before the family can depart, arid with their inhuman, atrocities. Francois' pretty wife is ordered to be taken to one of the'oflLcer's rooms, but the .other officers insist upon her being gambled for with a pack of cards.; Francois escapes and gains access' to the. roof. After many exciting adventures he manages to arrive in. time to save his wife's honour. In this fight there ensuse one of the most realistic struggles ever shown in a cinematograph film. Little Pierre, after many extraordinary .escapes meets a British despatch rider, whor taies him on his motor eyele and rides to the British lines. The rest of the story is com pelling in its incidents, arid the finale is a -.happy one. The other dramatic offering is a thrilling story. of adventure by the Kalein Company entitled, ' ' The Death Train. ' ' The comedy will be supplied by a new Keystone "Hogan's Mussy Job,'.' .a Lubin "The Millinery Man/ in which there is many laughs and a touch of pathos, and a Vitagraph ticklesome concoction "The Evolution of Percy." Anew topical Gazette; an interesting industrial showing "The Making of Khaki," ana the latest firing line Gaumont Graphic completes an ususually strong programme. £Jew selections will be render-ed by the full orchestra. The big attraction in, to-morrow night's new series is a stirring Western drama by the Vitagraph Company entitled " Ann O' the Mines, Pollard Vusual matinnee will be held on Saturday.-
