HOW THIS SOLITARY DISTRICT STANDS.

Six hundred and sixty men are required from the Canterbury-West Coast military district for the Tenth Reinforcements. ' These will represent seven arms of the service, and will be taken from the five groups in the proportions stated below. j The groups officially are designated by numbers', and the numbers roughly represent districts as follows : — No. 9—Christchurch. .
