CONFLICT WITH THE FRENCH.

OUR ALLIES SUCCESSFUL. LONDON, October 25. A French official communique states : The first Franco-Bulgarian encounter occurred on October 21st at Rabrevo. It was unfavourable to the enemy, .who attacked on the 22nd on a larger front. They were repulsed on a larger scale. The communique adds that the scarcity and high prices of food in Germany has caused a panic. Count 1.-oja Bethmann Hollweg announces that he will personally deal with the question. In order to meet the crisis the Federal Council has further restricted the sale of meat. The Socialist leader, Herr Wurm, declares that such misery was never experienced in Germany before. ATHENS, October 25. The French at Strumnitza lost 31 billed and 250 wounded. Fighting has been resumed at Demirkapon, . where an intense artillery duel is proceeding. ATHENS, October 25..
