VETERANS' MATCH,
The veterans' football match, between teams .representing Hokitika and Greymouth, will be played on Victoria Park this afternoon, com-, niencing at 3.15 p.m. The Hokitika team will arrive by train about 3 p.m. and all the local officials are expected to meet in the Star Club's gymnasium in order to <rive the southern veterans a fitting reception. Amongst those who are requested to attend are the team to represent Greymouth, the reserves, •c lemon carriers, the Red Cross briUHde, tho chief '"ban-ackers," the referee, and the umpires.
