Ernest Richard Taafe avrs charged (1) with being drunk, (2) a breach of a prohibition Order and . (3) disobedience of maintenance v order of 7s Gd week, with arrears amounting to £45. Defendant pleaded guilty and said he lad enlisted. Sergt- Murray said the Defence Authorities had informed him accused, would not be aeceptd. On the first two charges accused was convicted and discharged. On the charge of disobedience of- maintenance he was sentenced to three months' imprisonaient with liard labour, and should acr .Hised make arrangements to join tho t'orce and make provision for ihs family within one week the warrant would be suspended. lnangahua Hospital and Charitable Aid Board v.
