IMPERIAL SERVICE MiEDALS. WELLINGTON, October 22. The King has authorised the granting of long service medals of the Imperial Service. Order to six retired members of the New Zealand Postal Service. These medals are granted to lower grade officers for long and meritorious service in the State Departments in any part of the Empire. The following are the recipients and the length of service, the date of their retirement being given in parenthesis. James Burrow; letter carrier?' sorter, Wellington, 35 years and 10 months service (Sept., 1905); George Mor.com, letter carrier, Blenheim, 32 years and 2 months' service (June, 1908); Wm. Parlane, linesman, Mifton, 34 years and il months' service (June, 1908); Clifford Sage, lineman, Ashburton, 35 years and 2 months' service (June, 1908) ; Herrman Henry Rolf es, lineman, Kaikoura, 34 years' service (Nov. 1911); Sarah Brock, Cadette, Wellington, 35 years and 1 month's service (June, 1908).
