Miss Sale of Auckland (self and friends); , matron, Miss Marion Wiggens, domestic Service Instructor, Gisborne Technical School (Poverty Bay Teachers' Institute); Volunteers: Miss Adelaide Ballantyne (Wanganui Patriotic Committee), Miss • Knudsen (Midhurst Ladies Patriotic Committee), Mrs Leggatt (New Zealand Shearers Union, Miss Eileen Neilsen (Raumai Residents), Miss Dora Murch (Hawera Patriotic Committee), Miss G. Orange (New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association, Christchurch), Mrs Harold Rhind (Lyttelton residents), Miss Clara Rogers (Kirkcaldie's employees ' and Hawera Patriotic Committee), Miss Sylvia Wilson (Grace Bros., Carterton). For each of the twelve women £100 has been paid to the Defence Department less passage money. The average cost of each volunteei in addition to the £100 is £30 for the outfit.
