The demand for beef Avas very keeii, and prices were the highest known in the yards. Fat lambs also sold Avell, considering the number offered. Store sheep Avere also in keen demand in consequence of the ram. and there, was a further rise of 1/- to 3/- in fat sheep. ' Store sheep — Medium ewe hoggets ' 18/- to 20/1, good eAve. hoggets 23/9 to 25/-, shorn Avethers 14/10, wether hoggets 16/2 to 19/-, aged ewes and lambs 11/11 to 13/4, shorn aged eAves and lambs 11/- to 12/(5, sound-mouthed ewes and lambs 15/1 to 15/2, dry ewes "(aged) 12/15. , .
