SEPARATION ALLOWANCE GRANTED
[MR PRESS ASSOCIATION — COPYBJGHT.] WELLINGTON, June 11. The men in camp at TrcEtham have been notified that separation allowance of 1/- per diem for seven days a week, has been granted by the Minister of Defence to married ncn-comniissioned officers and privates of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force. This applies to the wives of non-com-missioned officers an dprivates of the main Expeditionary Force, and all subsequent reinforcements. Payment is to commence from the Ist of June, 1915, for those already in the force on that date, and frcm the date of enlistment for others. Claims for this separation allowance must be made by the men who have wives, or by the wives themselves, and proof of the marriage must be produced. Payment cf tie separation allowance is made to the wives and not to the men.
