LONDON, June 10.
Sir John Simon, speaking in the House of Commons, said that additional internment accommodation was being got ready rapidly. About 9,000 Germans and 4,000 Austrians in London had not been interned.
Mr. E. G. Prettyman (Under-Secre-tary of the Board of Trade), in reply to a question, said it had been agreed that Britain should purchase beef foi both France and Britain. The price would therefore be the same to both. It wo»ld not be in their financial interests to publish the price.
Mr. Asquith, in reply to a qtiestion, said Ihat the extension of the age limit had been widened. This would enable men, who had hitherto been debarred, to serve their country.
