ST. JOHN'S MENS' INSTITUTE

WEEKLY MEETING.

Owing to the nature of the weather the attendance at, the weekly meeting of the above Institute, held' in the Old Church, Guinness Street, was fair, but for all that a very pleasant evening was spent.

The business arising- was dealt with, and the evening was then given to the discussion of Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet." .The several members spoke on separate characters, and in this way the play was dealt with fully.

On next Friday (June ISth), a Borough Council will be hold, and, as this promises to be an evening during which several important points could be raised, members should keep this night in view and attend, if possible.
