TO WARSAW.
THE KAISER'S COMMAND,
LONDON, December 28. A Russian correspondent at the front says that the Germans sent their best fighting men and material from France to the Vistula, promising them that peace would follow the canture of Warsaw. The Germans believed that the taking of Wax'saw would compel Russia to conclude a separate peace. The Kaiser hypnotised the soldiers with the idea to enter Warsaw by Christmas. Every possible means were utilised in the fierce but fruitless attempts to reach the r ity, aviators even dropping proclamations promising the Poles freedom if they abstained from hostilities.
