BELGIAN RELIEF FUND

MEETING OF LADIES' COMMITTEE. At a meeting of the ladies, of Grey mouth, (Miss Perkins presiding) held at the Tovvn Hall. it was resolved that committees be formed to take steps to .augment the funds for the Belgian Relief Fund: BALL COMMITTEE. A committee consisting- of the following ladies, viz., Mesdames Morice, Ha-rinan, Hennikei-. Carter. Moss, McBrearty, Lynch. Noonan. E. J. Smith and Kettle, was set up to arrange for a dance to be held 1 * in the Town Hall on- Tuesday, 27tlv inst., tickets to be charged at gentlemen 3s, ladies 2s. The catering will be undertaken by the ladies. The Committee request the assistance of the General Committee with regard to the arrangement of music, door attendance aavcl preparations of the Hall. SALE OF FLOWERS. The following ladies have undertaken to act as a committee for the sale of flower : — The Mayoress. Mesdames Kettle. A. Smith, and Carter, assisted by a number of young ladies. Buttonholes, etc.. will be sold by the ladies on each days of the gallops and trots.
