The Company's officials stood at the doorway' with bowed heads. Subsequently the Salvationists held a memorial' meeting' in the vidnitv, New Zealanders addressing the mourn ers. The Lord Mayor opened the Mansion House Fund for the victims and dependents. 1 lie invites the mayors throughout the United Kingdom to open funds A convention in London represent ing two million Iri* residents of Bri tain offered the profoundest sympathy with the victims and dependents.
