The evidence in connection with the coroner's inquiry into the 'Talisman mic, fatality at Karangahake on Marcli 28th last,, by- .which Mcßrjde Hyde killed, concluded last night The verdict was that tihe accident' was caused iihrbugh the .breaking of a wire rope which had become deteriorated) but tlic evidence wasi iSot sufficient, to show negligence. A'fder waY added that the ropes should -bo tested every three months.
