The many friends of Mr. W. RBoJoff will regret to learn that is confined to his bed on account of an injured leg.
Mr. J. Tindale, who has just recover ed from a severe illness, was present at the meeting, of- the Hospital Board yesterday and .was warmly welcomed by his. fellow members. We trust that the improvement in Mr. Tindalc's hea\th will continue and that he will soon be perfectly restored to health-.
The resignation of Dr. Shand, Professor of Natural Philosophy at Otago University since 1870, has been received by the Otago University Council, the resignation 10 dat-c from March 3r, 1914.. '•,■■•
