MATCH AGAINST M.C.C. ' . YESTERDAY'S PLAY REPORTED. LONDON, May 13. The South) African cricketers commenced a match against M.C.C. in Lrighit weather. The M.C.C. batted first and commenced well, the 'first wickeit falling at 108, of which Tarrant made 67. At lunch the score was 162 for three Avickejts, Tarrant having made 101. However, Tarrant added only three after lunch Fry and Day made a good stand for .the fifth wicket, which fell at 240, butt .the others did not offer much resistance to Pegler and Harti/gan.
